After the Wolf Library dungeon, I began working on the next part of the Darkovia storyline, the Blood Moon.

Destroy boulders that block your path!

In the final chapter, players find the secret behind the Blood moon and collect an artifact hidden in a local Inn’s basement. Using the environment provided, I made adjustments to the basement containing a secret room that holds the relic. 

Suspicious shelves may hide secret rooms…

Once the basement reached its completion status, working alongside the team, I began developing the systems to continue the story inside the main town of Darkhurst. Once a player gets a specific point in the questline, they get teleported to a single-player instance of the map, where they must uncover a murder, calm the on-going war, being betrayed, and restore some peace to the town.

The project reached completion during the production of the WolfWing Challenge Fight.

Post-mortem - Darkovia Part V

This project took the shortest amount of time to complete so far.

This made me realize the difference of where I am now compared to the Tower of Necromancy, as I was more familiar and faster with development.

This also allowed me to go a bit out of the box and creating memorable environment scenes! 🙂
